Ashley is a third-year PhD student in the clinical psychology program at Ryerson University. Her Master’s thesis focused on identifying the child and adolescent risk and protective factors that differentiated the four criminal trajectory groups found by Day et al. (2008). She will expand on this research in her dissertation research by analyzing the criminal trajectories and predictors of trajectory group membership in a sample of firesetting youth who were seen in a specialty clinic for their firesetting behaviour. Her clinical and research interests include developmental psychology, developmental psychopathology, externalizing behaviour disorders in children and adolescents, delinquency and criminality, and firesetting behaviour in children and adolescents.
